My wife still wears a Maple Leafs starter jacket around the yard every now and then when its chilly, lol.
Couple of those in my parents basement still
Going to Renaissance on Barrington for this was EPIC.
Oh fuck, I searched the country when I was 7 for BeeBop and Rocksteady. From Halifax to Alberta. I actually found Rocksteady on Parlee beach in the sand one night when we had a cottage there. It was probably one of the best days of my life, up there with my wedding day.
I also went to that campground as a kid and played this game so much! That damn white truck was so fast!
How about this one.... playing as a kid on a skateboard/bike/etc with NO SAFETY GEAR
My dad built me one of these, me and my friends all almost died on it multiple times....it was so awesome though. Better designed than this one pictured though haha.
That thing looks rough as fuck.
Maybe we played against each other at some point, I remember playing against a lot of other kids over the years.
The poor kid's much music
Yep. Or kid who lived in the boonies and could only get TFC cable..
I still have most of the (I think) 90-91 set somewhere around here.
Yup both still standing Chater Meats and Aladdin Video Laundromat
WAs talking about these the other day
That is one of the worst built half pipes i think ever, it looks unskateable
OMG these were soooooo popular!
Totally had this!!!
REAL Saturday morning cartoons! Hercules, Flintstones, Smurfs, Scooby Doo, etc!
Also having to set up your cassette recorder to try to record some of the Top 40 hits to play and hoping that Casey Kasem wouldn't talk through too much of the song.
OR TGIF with Family maters step by step.
Something I found at my mom's house cleaning it up...anyone else here old enough to remember these? *COUGH* RoryTate *COUGH*
Good old Leisure suit larry.
lol. My friends dad didn't think we could get this game to run and left it lying around. My friend was pretty observant and figured it out when his older brother booted it up.
I so cheated on this promotion. The scratch cards were thick enough I could split them with a knife, hold the half up to a light and see the matching symbols, then re-glue the card together and scratch. Every card was a winner. I won a Mario Bros game cartridge this way, which sucked becuase all nintendos sold with it already.
Yeah, that wasn't mine, it was the first image I pulled up in Google lol.
OMG, I remember all this stuff. Love this thread.
We used to use scotch tape to peel a bit of the scratch stuff off and then hold it to the light to see the winners. Only remember winning bags of chips though
These pop bottles, then trying every so carefully to remove/slide the label down an inch or 2 so you could pop the Styrofoam.
Does anyone remember Switchback?
ouird Explain the pop thing. I don't get it.
