DD in the 20K range? BMWs are nice, they'll kill you on maintenence though.

You've got to be more specific in what you want out of the vehicle. What will you use it for, etc.

I just want a daily driver. Fuel mileage isnt really an issue, I dont go too far, and if I do, im not worried about what it will cost to get there.
I think a durango would be practical for me, I dont need a truck, but I do need a 4wd.. I dont want a new vehicle, because of the depreciation, I want to be able to pay cash for what I buy as well, so I dont have a payment... If I could get a new EVO I would buy new tho!

I'd recommend getting a 4 Runner over a Durango any day of the week if you want a 4wd. Toyotas are legendary for being reliable, but the 4Runner and LandCruiser are also legendary for thier offroad prowess.

You can probably get a WRX in that range, as well... or a late 90's, early 00's Audi A4 Quattro.

Remember....we are in Canada Pat. The prices we get here on cars would make you puke.

Hmm... well I figured the 2000 A4 1.8T quattro can be had here for $11K, and the WRX can be had in the $15K's USD... but then again that's not always comprable for your prices.

I guess, then, I just don't know how much your cars cost. :D

Cant go wrong with a Toyota, though they can be kinda pricey, even for a used one.
