@ the Exhibition Centre today and tomorrow - great way to get out of the house and do something with the crappy weather we'll be having over the next few days!

Friends of mine are going to check this out this today. They're trying to convince me to go, but it's not really my thing. Yesterday was the first I heard of it.

    How much is admission?

We went last year. It was fun but we weren't overly impressed and likely will only go the once.

It was a bit crowded, but my son and I had a good time - definitely something that would be more impressive for younger (pre-school / toddler) kids. It's pretty cool getting to pet and touch 20+ feet pythons, turtles, tarantulas, etc.

(bonus viewings of wise_ali can also be had, though I'm not sure if you're allowed to pet her..)

My cousin's wife took their two kids on Friday and she said they all loved it. I guess there was no one there that day. She had pics of the two of them with a tarantula crawling on their arms.

My best friend is friends with Ray amd his fiance worked at the zoo he has near Ottawa. He's a good all around guy. If Ray's in town you'll see him at the lower deck everynight...likely in a drunken state.

We took Ryder to this on Saturday and he was in awe... he wanted to watch the turtles roaming around all day... LOVED touching the animals... and literally cried his eyes out when it was time to go... I wouldnt have guess how much he enjoyed it...

my lil bro and I went on Sat. I couldn't help but wonder how this was at all good for the animals... I mean, they brought out Lady Chomps-a-lot and she was immediately surrounded by hundreds of kids/people... tightly surrounded... the boy enjoyed himself so I guess thats all that matters....
