When my truck has warmed up, If the engine is lugging (ie. taking off at low rmp or just idling around a parking light ) the oil pressure light will turn on. There's no oil pressure gauge but I'm assuming its from a lack of pressure. The engine was rebuilt last summer and it just started happening now. Any ideas?
low rpm as in almost the point of stalling? cause sure that will happen.. rev it up more and take off and see if it does it.
Ya I was just wondering if anything else could do it. I've had the truck for 3 years and always could do it before but no odds anyways i guess. thanks
Slower your engine rolls the lower the oil pressure you're gonna have. Any other lights come on at the same time? Or take it to a shop and get them to hook up a guage just for peace of mind.
Isuzu Pickup 2.3 inline 4. I was askin around and sometimes when they're due for an oil change it will happen, I'm thinkin that's what it is because it only does it at running temp. Gettin it changed today. It was never a problem before because it was burning so much oil there was always fresh stuff in it anyways. Thanks for the help.
