It depends on what kind of camera you're talking about.... It's possible to take a number of shots & stitch them together, to form a 360 degree panorama.

The most I've ever done is roughly 270:

    Here's a 180 degree:

no I"m talking about a camera that takes a 360 pic, I'm not talking about stitching it together. I seen a pic of camp julian in afghanistan and I was told it was taken with a camera that takes 360 degree pics, and seeing how I never heard of such a thing I thought I would ask, I know it would make more sence if it was stiched together but I was told it wasn't. I dunno, could be a pile of BS

ok, they have a cresent shaped camera with several lenses in it. they all take a picture at once so when you view it you can see directly around something. looks like you are walking around something instead of looking at it flat.
i saw it on tv once.

A fish eye lens can do the same. It's an extremely distorted image, but nonetheless, it's 360 degrees... I've never seen what you're talking about.. anything on the web somewhere?

There's lots of examples out there of this technology. I'm on a work computer so cant install the plugin for it so I couldnt verify the sites i found but google 360 degree object pictures quicktime and you'll find some I believe.
