Since I've been attending the gym at work I've been warming up with a short run on the treadmill and my legs / feet have been killing me. I was running in a pair of etnies that weren't made for running in the least bit, so I decided to invest in a pair of running shoes. I tried a few on, different brands ( Nike, Rebok, New Balance, Asics, Saucony) before settling on a pair of Saucony ProGrid Paramounts. What a huuuuuuuge difference! it's like I'm bouncing when I run and it's easier to run faster / longer. You guys probably already know this shit, but I was really surprised by how much better these shoes feel. Just my $.02:bigup:

Yes, proper shoes are important. I'm due for a new pair of runners.

I'm tempted to just go online and find the exact same pair as the ones I have. I got them at the running room and they were, hands down, the most comfortable/best shoes I have ever purchased.

Mine were just some Nike's, which I never really thought were that great... but these were picked for me and they were amazing. Like walking on clouds.

I got these back in December as an inexpensive gym/running shoe and have been VERY impressed with them

Also, sort of off topic, but ever since I switched from basketball shoes to running shoes to play bball, I havent had any issues with shin splints. I think bball shoes may be too heavy or something.

And I dont have ankle issues (knock on wood), so there really was no reason to use bball shoes.

I just tested a bunch out and went with what I found to be comfy for me, this is day 3 of running with them and I've increased speed and distance a little bit each day with no sore legs or feets :D

Got these bad boys over x-mas. They are super lite and flexiable. Highly recommended
