how do you fade an image into the backgroung of the slide. I have an Image I wast as a background, but I want it faded. Is there a way to do it in .ppt?

erm .. if my memory serves me right, you have to go into the background face for that particular slide, and then you can add the image there.
    OR
You can add the image, and when you right click on it you can choose how you want it, you can have it in the background.
As for faded not sure there is that option, unless by faded you meant in the back.
