i'm sure this is a re post but i felt like posting a couple pics i found of my old car, i think they are kinda cool., feel free to post a couple of your favorite pics of your old rides i miss my cougar this will give me something to look at tomorrow while at work
Yeah i know its not a really "cool" picture....and everyone has already seen it...but here she is again!
wouldn't you like to know actually i have the dyno sheet at home somewheres i think it was 159 hp at the wheels and 142 lbs of torque at the wheels.
no prob if you are ever over i'll show ya the dyno chart. btw why is it hard to believe?? isn't it supposed to be a 10% hp loss from crank to wheels? if so then that would be 17 hp i'd lose so that would be 153 at the wheels stock so i gained 6 hp at the wheels for my intake and exhaust, i wish i had more actually then what it did.
Try more like 18% unless you have mods done to your drive train and if it's an automatic it's even more.
so far the 4 door accords have the looks....great looking cars guys......BUT>.just wait till I get the pics of the Element online.......put you all to shame....lol
lol...when it comes out it should be pretty fast. Here's a list of the engine mods. 1999 GM 3800 Series 2 Supercharged V6 (stock #'s 240hp 280tq) 2002 Getrag Muncie 5-speed transmittion Custom subframe Custom lower poly engine mounts Custom upper aluminum engine mounts Custom Poly tranny mounts Custom Aluminum Flywheel (9.5lbs) Bully stage 4 pressure plate Bully stage 3 clutch disk (4 puck) Custom tuned PCM (done by Digital Horsepower) Wireing harness from 99 regal 3.4" Supercharger pully 160 degree thermostat Custom headers True dual exhaust from the headers back N.O.S. wet nitrous system (using 100hp jets) Thrasher N20 install kit (also acting as a TB spacer) LT1 Fuel pump Custom cold air intake K&N cone filter
Just with the nitrous it will be 340hp at the crank. With everything else and some tuning we're hoping for close to 400hp and somewhere around 450tq to the front wheels.
all i can come up with is why?? hp is good but where are you going to use 450 hp in downtown halifax? or do you plan on just using it at the drags
lol Whynot? The car is being built mainly for the track but that's not going to stop me from driving it on the street. Remember those numbers are with nitrous and I can't see me using that in downtown Halifax.
Holy fuckin' axle snapper James.......you might end up looking like me on my vacation in the parking lot of Double Z
I really hope not but I think you are right, although there is someone in the U.S. putting down 472tq on the stock axles for the last 4 years with no problems. Time will tell I guess. First thing on the list for this winter is new custom axles. Since I'm not going to have the car on the road very long this year I hope that the two extra sets of axles that I have will do.
Yes it is, mine is a EX-R and come stock with VTEC (145 hp). But that will change this winter...*evil Laugh* hehehehe
On the 102 beside Chad's 211hp Supercharged Civic (dont mind the helmet, hahah) My ass cushions.. Austins crazy detailing work..
These definitely aren't cool pics of my car....I only have 3 pics of it. I need to take some better ones.
