I was just given Adobe CS3 Master Collection Corporate Edition, and am using lightroom 2. I'm a complete noob when it comes to photoshop, and am wondering am I getting in way over my head with this program, or is it just as hard to learn as a standard copy of photoshop. I'll obviously have to pick up some books and do some web searches and such, but is it going to be really hard to learn?
The main thing you want to look at when your starting is the image menu (File, Edit, Image) then under Adjustment.... theres abunch of things you can do from there. As well as filters and going to Sharpening and clicking on Unsharpening Mask... Play with the bars to see what you get for results... hours of fun, and maybe headache at first but lots to help in your photos.
The only differences between the "Master Collection" and "Standard" CS3 is that it will include measurement tools, basic 3D and video. The Master collection also includes Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and a bunch of other Adobe products. If this is a legit copy, it's worth $2499 US from Adobe and you should seriously thank whoever gave it to you. I don't have any good friends like that...
Everything LR from importing, organizing, basic retouching, syncing with PS... All will be revealed... Or at least as much as I can cover in 60-90 minutes!
