my girlfriend is fucking terrible for this. dishes in the sink for days, baskets of laundry on the floor and i can't tell which is clean or dirty cause they are all mixed. i was gone for 9 days and i wasn't suppose to be home. he father showed up for a visit and his gf gets here tonight and my place is fucking pathetic. i am sick of cleaning up i came home on friday and spent most of saturday taking out take out boxes and cleaning up the house. it's really starting to bother me and we are fighting infront of her father cause i am trying to get her ass up from behind her computer screen and do her fucking dishes and laundry. we had a pretty good blow up there last night. today is her birthday and as of right now i don't even want to come home after work today. WWRCD? cause i am sick of living like a slob.

no beating around the bush. communication is key to relationships. if they don't know how/where you stand, these situations can arise
This used to drive me nuts! I'm super OCD neat and my ex was a... well, not a "slob" because she did do most of the "cleaning", but she would just drop things everywhere. I'd come home and straighten up the apartment, then she'd barge in and just leave a trail on the floor. Coat, purse, clothes, whatever she had just bought with my money, anything she touched was never put back, cupboards were open, etc. I tried 3 years to train her to no avail. Living alone is sooo much easier. I love being able to leave for work in the morning with my apartment tidy and know it will be that way when I return. I can't say to ditch you girlfriend, but she definitely needs to smarten up if it's something that bothers you. Hell, it's not hard to pickup after yourself...
i wish it was just that easy to skid her. we been together almost 1 year. we get along great it's just she lives like a slob. I come home today and there is a bag of garbage on the back porch and everyone is gone. i mean give me a fucking break you have to walk by the garbage on the porch to get to your car which is located beside the garbage bin. take the fucking garbage with you. i forsee a very bad night tonight
