Didn't realize it had been that long since we dipped below -20
Hope everyone is ok! Thoughts and prayers!
Haven't seen above -19 in a week and a half here.... . My poor truck hates me. Throwing DEF error codes with the constantly freezing/thawing of the DEF system .
I remember starting my rental car in Edmonton at -38C with no block heater. Car had < 500 km on it and it seriously struggled to turn over lol
Honestly hasnt been a bad winter out here though. -45+ for one week and then -5 for two weeks straight. Back to -35 to -40 overnight this past couple weeks. But overall it's been mild for an Alberta winter.
Was -26 yesterday morning, Volvo had no issue starting, but going into drive from park felt "thick". Now today it's +2, and tomorrow night back to -22.
All over the fucking map.
Truck started fine at -26 yesterday. Wheeler, not so much. Had to wait until it warmed up to -15ish to get it started so I could plow the driveway.
yeah thats here too, -12 last night going up to 4 i cant figure out it out.. last week we got to -32 then back up to 2
Relatives just arrived from Dawson City, YT - said they had one of the coldest drives they've ever had from Dawson to Whitehorse because they couldn't turn the heat from blowing full bore on the windshield to anywhere else in the vehicle or the windshield would just frost up. Gross!
It was the perfect night to propose outside at the oval :/ fingers almost fell off
