I like the single forum...but yeah...I was talking to more than a few people not too long ago who had NO idea what a forum was.

It defeats the purpose of the site. Its meant as a resource.
I don't consider Facebook as a resource so much as I see it just being a place that everyone just puts their own shit with no sort of organization. In a day or two it's gone, only to be asked about 1000000 more times.
Its all based on algorithms based on that person's "likes", clicks etc. One person sees one thing where another won't.

I'm also a dinosaur, so what do I know.

I'm actually working my way to deleting my Facebook account. I've unfollowed every one of my friends and really only use it if someone sends me a message. I find that site to be toxic. It spreads misinformation, sucks up all of people's time and it's completely fake.

I've just been eliminating the people that spread the fake shit/drama/etc. Take the good and leave the bad behind

    I am old...But I am good with that ;)

As far as fb, I don't know if that is why the forums are so quiet. I am not really online in the warm weather. Always come back once it gets cooler outside.

I still enjoy this quite a bit. I check it multiple times a day, every day. I have seen a dramatic decline in activity the past couple years though.

I've taken the step of deleting it from my phone, at least. I rarely post any longer. The kicker for me was the studies that say Facebook can cause/contribute to depression. I've always found that interesting, but said, "hey, I'm immune". Then, at the beginning of the school year, all these friends were posting photos of their kids smiling and heading out on the first day of school while I looked around at my daughter absolutely losing it and having a major meltdown. At that point, I realised it was actually causing me to feel depressed so I deleted it from my phone and only check it once in a while from my work laptop.

Ironically for this thread and this message, the main reason I check it at all is because I belong to a few Facebook groups that I like to stay active in - one of which is related to childhood anxiety. :P

The only reason I haven't deleted my account is because of a few useful groups

I like how you've put ads at the top and bottom now. Better balance.
