Olivia @ 6 months.
Half way though this clients' baby steps package. newborn --> 1 yr.
Cute, I like the expression! Colors, exposure, sharpness and lighting are superb although I find it shot to tight.
I also like how the penguin is lookin' up at the baby!
i REALLY LIKE this... great job!!
i agree clif i love how teh penguin is looking up at her!! too cute
what did you use on this for backdrop?? i find my muslins sooo bloody wrinkly sometimes LOL
Looks really nice. I will agree with it being framed to tight though...but over all I really enjoy everything else about it.
a tri fold foamcore board from staples and light through the patio doors.
yeah its a little tight was some white space up top which wasn't doin much.
Love the follow-up pair - especially the happy expression on the baby's face in the last one.
I can see the patio doors in her eyes! Perhaps some sheer curtains to diffuse the light a little?
thanks. She's a very serious baby hehehe.
yeah there were some sheers on them already.
The last two are great, first one isn't bad by a long shot.
I prefer the 3rd by a long shot....not feelin' the stuffed animals....gives it a "portrait studio" vibe If they have some significance, that's different.
So? They're catchlights. They're money.
Word that coupled with the 'on white' look....i dunno...i have never been a huge fan of kids shots only on white....
yeah same. mommies orders
'this job would be great-if it wasn't for the customers.'
yeah....I just had a client request a crop to a photo, because it wasn't "centred"....
I told her I wouldn't do it.
Yeah - I know catch lights are 'money' - I was just asking if being able to identify the source - i.e. the doors - was a good idea?
Why would it be bad?
shouldn't be an issue really. everything needs light somehow.
I didn't mean it would be 'bad' - just a question.
I can't remember seeing such a clearly defined source for the catch lights, that's all. And just wondered if others found themselves focusing on that?
this way they can always go back and see how their kitchen was laid out when she was 6 months
Never thought of that
