My roof has got lots of cracks in the paint and stuff and I can't afford to paint my car so I came up with an idea. What if I paint the roof, hood , hatch and door pillars black. Making the car half red and half black. What does everyone think? I think it would match the wheels and would look different but different isn't always a good thing.

btw I'm aware the cars that have this done have cf hood/hatch but thats just not an option for me currently. The car will have balls to back up any "thats fake cf" comments.

Well I don't really want to do it but it's rock that or rock a roof with patches of paint missing exposing bare metal.

Ok I'm gonna try to get the whole thing painted. I want to go a darker red this time around. does anyone have any suggestions for paint colors as long as it's a red color?

There was a dark red on 94+ integras that wasn't a red, nor a maroon, but something in between. It was a BEAUTIFUL color...and metallic I believe. Not common at all.

I'm playing with the idea of going with the color "british racing green" I've always loved that kind of green.

Sure, if you're going to pull your motor and do a proper job go with BRG, if not.. don't be gay and stay red.

After looking at the car a color change is just to much hassle gotta select a red paint. Candy apple red looks promising if I repaint.

if you're worried about paint matching, why not spend a bit of time with a paint swatch book + your car... you should be able to find something that matches. any place that mixes paint will have thousands of paint charts to dig through.

...only if you have 3 hours to kill ha!
