Its a gimmick and takes away from the matchups in the world series. I don't want to watch two teams play each other in the world series I just saw play in September.

I'm an old school guy though, I don't even think there should be DH in the AL. Completely ruins the late game strategy required in the NL. All AL managers have to do is sit there on their fat asses

Was an exciting game. I picked the pitcher change/Tulo's go-ahead hit to pee the dog though :(

I know this is just a blue jays circle jerk thread but there's a Strasburg v. Syndergaard showdown tonight!

    Did he ever!

I'm fresh out of TV so I might watch some of the ASG tonight. It's no where near as interesting to me as the HRD.

brb, i have no idea what you're talking about.. guessing inning limit stuff..

Edit: yeah, it's a hell of a dilemma.. it would really bolster the bullpen but SP would suffer

Seems every sports news around here lately has his name and innings come up. Definitely a dilemma. Playoffs is another story aswell.

Not a big fan of a 6 man rotation but if it keeps Sanchez in (for now) then whatever.

Watched the baseball documentary Fastball last night narrated by Kevin Costner. Thought it was excellent and would recommend to anybody who hasn't seen it yet.

Like i mentioned in the other thread i'm glad the Jays are heading back to Wrigley next year. The 2017 Jays schedule looks good except for the opening of season and closing the season on the road. That kinda sucks.

I stayed up. I was worried a few times but was pretty confident they'd pull it off. It occurred to me when Jose struck out in the ninth that he could have hit a huge walk off. Probably extremely lucky Britton didn't get in the game.

That's what everyone is asking today. He clearly wanted to save him for a lead but at some point you probably, at or before the 11th, have to play all your cards.

Glad to see Boston and their 215 million payroll get swept away yesterday.

Off an on. Looking like the Cubs could do it. Really hard to come back from down 3-1

Fell asleep in 7th dammit. Not a fan of any team, or the sport for than matter, but pumped the Cubs won for some reason. History I guess, their time.
