I've seen that a million times, but it can't be posted enough. If you haven't seen the SNL cold open with Matt Damon, go find it on YouTube now! It is probably the best thing SNL has done in a decade.
Oscar Boyson ... if you've ever watched any Casey Neistat vlogs you may recognize him
That's about the best goddamn thing I've seen in a long time.
The amount of tech there is amazing.
it is. Everything has to come together there perfectly from the hardware to the software. Insane.
I went to a lecture at the university of washington this week by a robotics engineer working on robots who work with humans and manipulate things like food (his first robot got semi-famous for being able to separate an Oreo and serve sushi). The talk was fascinating as he went into the complexities of things that seem as simple as picking up a coffee cup and taking a drink. We’re a long way from having robot overlords at least!
I built a little tracked rover from electronic parts and programmed it to drive around. That alone was very challenging. Can't imagine complex tasks
My son has the LEGO robotics stuff as well as a bunch of adruino electronics stuff. Even some of the simple ideas he has turn into hard projects that have to be scaled back. It makes you realize just how complex the human brain is.
SnapCircuits are a cool, easy way to teach electronics. Emily loves messing with them and they have circuits of varying degrees of difficulty.
Yeah, he had those when he was younger. Minecraft and red stone was really where my son honed a lot of his knowledge, though.
It's official...robots are less stiff and dance better than me.
I was good with it till it did the neck thing. Then it got weird and freaky quick....
I was ok until it started twerking
OK, who signed the permission slip for this one?
It must be Otto
