The tracked Honda's start at something like $3500. They do have a model close to 10k, but it's basically something you would use to clear a tank path during a World War.

I am gonna replace the friction wheel and belts on my 33" craftsman and hope it does me for this year. If not, I'll loop back around to buying a blower. I was only considering the one for the tractor since it seemed easy, but the damn attachment cost as much as the tractor itself.

$8500 is like 170 plowing's (@ $50), I get about 14 a year on average, so that's 12 years before I broke even. I can't even math that as reasonable in any way.

I don't imagine you can, that's the most expensive model they sell, my guess is most that buy it use it for commercial use. You can get a fully capable tracked Honda model starting from $2500. I bought a 30" Husqvarna for around 1800 tax in and love it, the auger isn't as aggressive as the Honda's or the Arien's but it's worked well for me and is very solidly built.

I've heard those work like shit and put a ton of strain on your lawn tractor, unless you have a more heavy duty tractor. I think either going with a blower or a plow/atv combo is the best bet from the research I did.

You take it correctly. Also, I like my humour like I like my coffee - black.

Yeah I love black humour too, but I think your perspective changes when you have kids. I read that story and felt like shit afterwards, laughing about it was the last thing on my mind.

Does that also mean that you go around Tim Horton's taking coffee off other people's tables and calling it your own?

I don't think you need to have kids to find a joke about a true story of multiple kids dying not funny.

I still get the paper flyers, but I use Flipp on my phone. Allows me to search and tag items.

I did my friction wheel and drive rubber last year - I ended up not actually buying the wheel, but just rubbed it down with different sandpapers to get the high grooves out. Works great. The only problem with my blower is it gets water inside that freezes up when you turn it off (say to do the steps or something), and then it won't start until you pop the back off and manually crank it. Some days I wish I could just put it in the dining room for the winter lol. (Optimally, next to my motorcycle)

I use Flipp too, love it ... but we still get the flyers. I don't know, there is just something about sitting with a coffee and flipping through the flyers.
