MacLean & MacLean Supposedly the picture was taken in Glace Bay at the MacLean house when Jim Carrey visited them back in the 80's. Don't recall ever hearing of the visit, but I guess Carrey was still really an unknown at that point or I was too young to know lol

We have a magnet on our minivan that says, “Condoms prevent minivans”. Gets great reactions.

We needed a vehicle with enough power to pull our trailer - a truck isn't really practical. The van is really versatile and the number of times we do have 5 kids in the back is higher than you'd think. Kids have friends and they all need to get somewhere.

Also, the magnet with the saying embarrasses our kids, so it has added bonuses.

2 kids and a minivan club member here too. They are pretty damn useful rigs. I put it off as long as possible, but can't say I regret getting one!

I looked at the 7 passenger SUV options. The extra 2-3 seats always ended up pretty much useless and, in general, they were an extra $15k price wise compared to the Caravan. The only regret I have really is not looking more closely at the Honda Odyssey which can seat 8 in a pinch. When we have family or friends visiting, it's often an other family of 4 and being able to fit everyone in with seatbelts would be great.
