the only reason people think skylines are so great is because all they know about is the GT-R. the lower end modles are average cars...but i'd still take one :D

^^^ I can see that happening too. Kind of like the Evo 8. I'm not sure if I want to wait till 07 for one though. I have been looking at a few companies in the US and Canada that imports them and it would be a fun project to get an older one and redo it.

    Sure thing man.

Do you ever hear me claiming how good my car is or how I could "out drift" anyone just because I have a 240 that is my project and my screen name very much implies that I enjoy drifting. besides I've gotten away from drifting a bit to expensive for me, fun but impractical style.

"its nice but not that great" Oh my fucking sweet jesus god the irony :ohnoes:

Belive it or not I did buy my car without completely knowing its enthusiest backround. Its selling points were:

    RWD
    53/47 weight distro
    140hp 150lbs/ft

not that i could out Uber-Drift my fellow bandwagoners

but anyways ill stop fueling your fire of hate.

Thankfully it was only 5 days short of A FUCKING MONTH for you to reply to that.

Probably too busy thinking up excuses.

The ironic part, sweetie, wasn't the "it's nice but not that great" comment. :D Haha, man, you should seriously just shut up now.

    It's a southern thing, sweetie.

It's not meant to get you hot, either. It serves an entirely different purpose.

so your saying the nissan 240sx is only what it is today because of the drift scene? explain.

Someone actually posted that Supra's weren't popular until TF&TF came out!?
    Me thinks that is incorrect.

People want what they can't have, it's human nature. A lot of the reason that everyone likes the skyline is simply that's it's not available to them here. Once it is, and the novelty wears off, it'll be another nice car. Nice, but nothing to write home about.

2F2F only made them look better to the 14 year olds that don't matter anyways.

People wanting what they can't have doesn't really apply all that much to a twin-turbo 6 cylinder all wheel drive 4 wheel steering engineering masterpiece that is brutally fast and has almost unlimited modification possibilities.

Also, people said the same thing about the EVO and STi... the owners sure like them, though.

    I agree!
I would still drool over a GT-R even if they had been available in North America since they came out. And they're just sooo sexy too.
