Oh - I hear ya. We have 2 girls - Black Lab mix is 11 1/2, Purebred Black Lab just turned 11, The kittens (yah - we still call them kittens) are 16 1/2 We lost our other lab/something mix last January just a few days short of her 14th birthday. We were just in for our annual shots on Friday. Vet says they are all in great condition but we all know that can change overnight.

Added a new old girl to our two blacks. This is Jessie-Anne.
    upload_2018-11-26_22-43-40.png

She's a litter-mate to our Sydney. Her person who was a dear friend of ours passed away in Ontario. A mutual friend had driven up to bring all her pets back home to Nova Scotia.

Our new lil man enjoyed his first time meeting his big brother and sister over the weekend. He was naturally quite exhausted from being around such busy big pooches lol. Welcome to the zoo Shamus!

Not a pic, but Thursday night my golden started falling down and unable to walk. She was diagnosed with Canine Vestibular Disease. If she wasn't a smaller dog (50 lbs), trying to manage her would have been too difficult :'(

After 72 hours now, she is walking around on her own, albeit a little wobbly still with a tilted head to the left, but eating, going outside, using the washroom all by herself. Vet says after 2 weeks or so she should be back to normal. What a scary few days, thought I was going to lose her, would have been devastated.

Shamus has been doing much better with his bro and sis. My girl is learning how to let him lay nicely with her and get a snuggle in since he LOVES to be near them 24/7.

Unfortunately Emma had an upset tummy for a few hours one day that put her out of commission but Shamus was right there to snuggle up and keep her warm.

Naturally he and Tank always get along well and enjoy each others company.

Had to include a shot of baby Jynx. I unfortunately lost my big dragon, Piper last week :(

Sorry to hear about Piper :( My wife and I were just talking about our guy the other night - she's been keeping an eye on breeders for where to get the next one from for a few years now but old Solo just keeps hanging on somehow. He's pretty much a Dinosaur now.

You're so very lucky! He's quite old now isn't he? Piper had some pretty bad nerve damage in her hind end and when I found her it looked like she had a tumor or cyst burst inside. :( It was NOT a nice site to see and broke my heart. However, I love my dragons and simply couldn't be without them in my life, so Jynx came home. I would love to do a breeder next time! I love the German Giants or the Sunburst guys! I think Jynx is male....he'll be my first if it's the case. Always had females.

He will be 15 in May if he makes it that long haha

Sorry to hear about your experience :(

I've heard Sunburst mentioned before - I know she wants something more colorful next time around.

Wow! That's awesome. Great for captive life! You guys are doing something right! Does he have an oaf personality? Very laid back? My females were always very busy and social. My gfs male was very lazy lol

Check out the Sunburst (more yellow) and there are some beautiful reds out there too!
