    Talk about another 'pee your pants moment! (i.e., sensor cleaning), Nikon flashes this HUGE warning on the screen that if the battery dies while the new firmware is loaded, your camera is screwed. They even have a built in diagnostic that wouldn't let me do the update with one battery low, even though the other battery was fully charged. All this of this precaution had me thinking someone, somewhere, somewhen, must have had an update die. :cry:

    I'm terrified to do any firmware updates because I always hear of more bad things than good things from the D3's.

    I may do it this weekend when I go home, I didn't bring my camera up here with me this week. If I do it I will let you know how it goes.
