I’m gonna check that out.
The Dirt was insane...I loved Crue growing up, I knew they were wild, but that was pure insanity.
the dirt was awesome
Watched a bunch of episodes of Losers. I enjoyed it. That savage that was lost in the desert. My god.
Watched a few of those "Love, Death & Robots" animated shorts. Weird. Really weird . Very well done, animation was great, but it isn't at all what I thought it would be. Episodes are like 13 minutes long and none interchanged, all different stories, so far. On the fence. Not sure if I'll go back or move on.
I enjoyed them. There were a couple of meh ones, but the punchline in the 3 robots one was priceless. I played that a second time for my wife.
Not Netflix but this looks like it could be either great or really horrible:
Not on Netflix but watching Chernobyl on Crave right now. It's absolutely terrifying! I can't imagine the Russians are too happy with this production.
I wondered the same......it's not very entertaining but very interesting.
Try "The Hot Zone" on Showcase......we love it!
It's a very well done show.
ep 4 with the dogs:
Man it's well done. The only beef I have is the UK accents.. bugs the shit out of me
Won't lie...I knew after them talking about the dogs what was coming up and I fast forwarded through it.
Yes - The dogs were hard to watch..
The accents didn't bother me. And if you asked a Brit, they would probably say they aren't talking with accents, since it's a British production :-)
i mean sure if we were in the UK and not North America...
and set in Russia and the Ukraine lol
Wife wants to watch cheronobyl. From what I gather there is death of dogs? If so, this will not be permitted to play in our house
I can't see us watching this either. From the death of dogs thing... To the fact that it's a story about a bunch of people dying slow...painful... terrible, awful deaths. Yeah... Don't really feel like being depressed.
also not watching sad dog stuff
People dying I can handle. Animals must live forever in the movies. That should be a rule
Chernobyl is a great watch. IMDB actually has it rated as the most popular TV show of all time currently
I'm okay with people dying as well. But I mean, come on, it's a story about the local residents of Chernobyl... It's not gonna end well!
Actually there isn't any gruesome scenes with the dogs. It was sad that it had to be done but it was done to save the animals from suffering in the long run. It was probably one of the only wise decisions made by the Russians.
Started season 5 of Black Mirror. The first episode was really odd... which goes with Black Mirror.
Having watched this episode today I looked into it a little. 30 years later there are still dogs living in the exclusion zone and the radiation levels are finally low enough that they are available for adoption.
It is a great show though, and apparently quite accurate to actual events.
And they make great nightlights!
yep. really well done. black mirror trademark weirdness. loved it
I read an article on BBC last week, I guess the Russians are going to make their version of the show now, including a US spy that was working at the plant the day of the meltdown....
yeah the dog part is like 7 minutes and you don't actually see anything just hear gun shots. until the end where it looks like stuff animals
