Is everyone prepared for the onslaught of overpowered, poorly built, cheap neon's to hit the street or what?

I know if I was in the market for another car a neon would be well worth the $5K sticker

    Here we go again... :)

They've been for sale in Canada for a few weeks now. They started showing up here about a week or so ago. There was one infront of Steele on Kempt when I drove by Saturday night.

I'd drive one. Just dunno that I'd pay $30k for one. A WRX might not be the same speed demon but it would be a vastly better all around car IMO.

Im thinking its a box with the key to the car in it? Kinda like when a real estate agent shows your house while you arent home, they leave a key in a lock box at the house..

It's got the car key in it so the dealership can lock the car and keep one key to get them all open.

I wouldn't knock the SRT-4s. . . . I mean, price is a bit up there, but the things do boot! And, I hate it when people judge them based off of previous models. . . I mean, they've been making neons for almost 10 years now, and they have improved upon manufacturing techniques and design. Its a totally different design motor.

Already beat you guys to it

Its impressive, has some serious snot to it, hate the seats though, but for 27,000 its a bargin, but still a neon. Not the neons are bad, just not my type of car. An ACR verison of this could do some serious damage on a road course.

Which dealer did you go to? Was it hard to get a drive?...assuming you seem interested in buying the car. Did the salesman go with you?

Pretty much. An Impreza is just an AWD Japanese Neon... (small sedan in the economy class)

Exactely like Civics. You've got the right idea.
I don't understand the coughing though.... I don't think anybody who's posted in this thread has a Civic...

I was thinking the same thing, his *cough* comment went to one person who owns an RX-8 (is there a dash?) and another who owns a 328i, both of which have bespoke interiors of quite high quality. :)

Exactely. Not sure what he was getting at. (As for the dash, there is one on the back of the car, so I put in when I write it. :) )

... and yes, both vehicles do have unique and high quality interiors... and exteriors... and drivetrains... and have the correct wheels driving them as god intended. :)

How are you liking your experience on the German side, anyway?
The 330 was on my shopping list, but the only dealership in town (the next closest is an 18hour drive away) are such ass's that I couldn't be bothered dealing with them.

the *cough* is there b/c so many ppl think they're civics are hot shit when really they arent... it wasnt directed at anyone in particual either... just any person who reads this that owns a civic with nothing special done... not a personal attack and i know what type of cars both of you guys drive.
