My room mate has a few small things needed it done to his car. He wants the chevron outlined in gold. Where and who can do it? Also, this black panel running up the side of the passenger side window is broken. He needs to replace the entire part and also the rubber guards around the window. Any suggestions?
First off Kevin, about the broken window frame piece. Have your friend call some of the major auto salvage places in NS, he'll be bound to find the parts that he needs cheap. Try Blenkhorns, Coveys, Capital City (they are all listen under automotive in the yellow pages) As far as painting the trim around the chevy bowtie, anyone that is fairly handy could spray that for you. Mask it off with a good painters tape, scuff the area that you'd be painting down a bit, spray with the base coat and then clear when finished. Not that hard of a task. If he wants to get really picky, any body shop could do it.
He can't be that picky... he's driving a Cavalier.... .. and before he worries about outlining his Chevy badge in gold, tell him to get that damn O'Reagan's badge off the back of the car....
