Hey guys, I am looking at purchasing a new laptop since I cant find a used one that suits my needs...

I am looking at an Hewlett Packard Model# ZV5320CA that sells for $1499 plus taxes

The other one is a Toshiba Model # A70-KL1 that sells for $1899

Both are almost Identical in features...What making my decision hard is that people always praise up Toshiba Laptops as being the best on the market! So should I spend the xtra cash for Toshiba or is HP just as good....

Here are the links to the products....

    Toshiba Laptop

    HP Laptop

Let me know what you think....

the difference in price between those two notebooks wouldnt be the brand, The TOshiba has a 3.2ghz processor compared to the HP's 2.8, and the Toshiba has a DVD -/+ combo drive (meaning you can burn dvds, and cds), compared to the HP's DVD/CD-RW Combo (being you could just play dvds, but able to burn cds. That would account for the price difference. It really depens on what you`ll be using your notebook for. I worked for HP/Compaq for almost a year selling their products and being in customer service ive heard the really good and really bad, overall HP makes a good product. But for the added features of the Toshiba, it would be the better deal for 400$ more for the features your getting. If your just looking for a basic pc for browsing your on a budget the HP would serve you well

I will be using the Laptop for part Real Estate, so it will be travelling quite often! Plus I am a sales Rep so it will be used for that as well....

I need dependability and from what I am gathering, HP isnt going to give it to me....

basically what you want is something with good battery life, pretty light....you dont need media center or any of that jazz....something dependable and with good warranty...

where are you thinking about buying your laptop, how whats your price range?

Dell has a couple of lightweight, travel friendly ones, 600m and 800m I believe. I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 and it's works pretty good for me.

I would reccomend a Sony Vaio, I have one along with my Cousin, and I find them very light, small, and easy to use.

if you buy anything fom the future shop your getting ripped off, I don't care what it is, they are the biggest bunch of fuckers living. you want quality and good customer service go with del. you want a good gaming laptop go with alienware, you want the best of the best go with mac. But I'm telling you, you will regret any purchase from the future shop
