    If you're going for harnesses, the a 5-point is generally a better choice. The anti-submarine belt helps you from slipping out from under them. Also, a camlock setup is way easier to manage on a daily basis than the old hook/latch.

    been cleaning up loose ends. fuel system, lines etc.

    some parts get here today, hoping to have the car back within 14 days. then need to figure out a new transmmission.

    Is there any sort of Porsche transmission that would do the job? Mounting would be similar wouldn't it? I really don't know much about VW's.

    its cheaper, and tried and tested with a subaru tranny. ill do that.
