Movie Editing Software...

I know i've asked this before but i'm still looking for some kinda editing software... somethin a lil' more impressive then Windows Movie Maker...
I'm used to the Imac programs so it seems sooo dull compared to those... any suggestions ?

I suggested Adobe Premiere to you months back in a post you made like this, haven't you tried it yet?

 

I prefer Vegas Video to Premiere for just simple editing. Premiere is naturally more powerful but its a lot more complicated. Vegas has a nice interface and can do most functions.

 

I dunno how to get a hold of it ?
