How'd ya find the DS? I heard that they were a bit of a handful on a tight track.

Nice bike overall, but a handfull on a track like you said.
I sometimes found it very heavy and unforgiving.
Very very tight corners caused a little problem with the bike, but other then that it was as I expected, with beeing a little heaver and wider then the average quad you would expect it to act the way it did.
I found it easy to balance both on the ground and in the air.
I had to toy around with the suspension my first you outings at the track, but thats to be expected.
Over all I loved the feel of the bike and it had a good bit of power.
only thing I didnt like about the bike was trail riding, due to its width it was hard to go in some of the trails, but it wasnt built for that in my eyes so theres no point complaining about it.

Nope, the bike never seen out of provence when I had it, as for the new owner, who knows where is has gone or is going with the bike.
summer of 2002 a group of us were going to head up to an event in NB, but we didnt end up making the trip.

Im racing 250 cc next year, I raced as a teen, and got out of bikes when I was old enough to own cars. I had no plans of racing again, but.... I bought a cheap bike at the first of the season, and after a few trips to a local track I got hooked on it again. Now im in the process of buying a new bike, and getting ready for next year.

I miss motocross. :( I raced a CR80 as a kid for 2 years. It's been a solid 4 years since I've rode in the dirt, but as of last week I picked up a bike and am back pounding the dirt again. I'll never race again though, far too competitive for my liking.

Mitch has had a shitty year, and hes still ranked 22nd in Canada.
Should see him with a factory ride next year.
