I had a CR60 for a little while but I alway puttered around in 1st gear because I was afraid to shift (I thought if I stalled it I'd fly over the handle bars). AND... I also had to jump start it all the time because I couldn't get the coordination between the throttle and the clutch down pat. :happysad:

I found that out when I got really frustrated one day and opened the throttle wide open and the bike came out from underneath me and was standing up right. But at that time I also didn't realize about the whole "wait until you roll" part before letting the clutch go.

 I did that recently on the KX that I now have. It was a good 3 years since I had rode a motocross bike, and this past summer I went out and bought the KX. It felt like I had to re-learn to ride a snappy 2-stroke all over again, man I had some squirlie times with the front wheel in the air, obviously not on purpose.

Hahaha... I kind of miss dirt bikes. In one of my classes in grade 10 I was sitting with 2 guys that were into motocross racing and they always included me in their conversations... after talking to them I wanted to race SO bad! It'd be fun to get all dirty and muddy. Heh... :)

I want the new YZ450F. I'd even take the 426. First mod would be a kickstand. They are a bitch to start, especially without anything to lean the bike against.

Jesus... Weve got enough people to have an RC dirtbike day in Halifax.. My bike this year is going to be CR450f or a YZ450f.
