A75? Congrats! Looks like it does well with close-ups.
yeahp. falling right in love with this camera..sorry for the close ups.....but i'm all fascinated with them as it's something i couldn't do with the hp at all.
been playing with them and dof a lot today...there's a lot to play with.
taking some night shots with the snow atm...gonna post a few of those...shaun...when i take pics of my cat...a lot of times there's a bad glare back in his eyes....other than shooting without the flash it's almsot always there....any ideas?
Try diffusing the flash if you can't turn the flash down (I can do that on my olympus, but not on my canon).
A cheap diffuser can be white masking tape over the flash, or tape a piece of white paper either completely over the flash, or tape along the bottom of the paper so you can 'bounce' the flash upwards and out of the cat's eyes.
Give it a hook, and if it doesn't work, all you're out is some masking tape.
i can turn my flash down...have to give it a shot...
and never thought about a diffuser type solution with this type of built in flash!!
