i got this from another fourm. i dont know if its been posted here or not but i thought it wouldnt hurt. Do the following. -Open Firefox and on the address bar write "about:config" and hit enter -find the string network.http.pipelining -double click and change the value to true -find the string network.http.pipelining.maxrequests -double click and change the value to anything from 40-100 (depending on your speed and computer) -find the string browser.turbo.enabled -double click and change the value to true AND: right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves. -Now close and restart and enjoy the new blazing speed of Firefox...
Not sure if i did that already or not..i changed a bunch of stuff in the old firefox thread that boots posted. EDIT..ok, a few of the changes where already made, but some wernt. Seems a bit quicker!
