Just went to get dog food at Global and the Swiss Chalet caught fire while we were there. 4 fire trucks and 4 police cars just showed up. Visible flame glow from the air vent from the kitchen.

Tried to get pics but couldn't before the light changed.

I also came across a car accident with a taxi and a bus while walking to the car. The one day I take my camera to work but have no time to stop!

about time, the amount of grease and fat congealed in that kitchen was gross. might teach more restaurants to clean more often

You would think that until you move somewhere where there isn't Swiss Chalet.

Food in this city is awful unless you're paying $35 for an entree. I paid $16.99 for a plate of crap at "Thomas the Cook" here, and it tasted like hospital food.

At least with Swiss Chalet it's decently priced and you know what you're going to get. And it tastes better than that!

I just drove by and there were guys working on the roof, but the building didn't look damaged.
