Looking for... something..

I know someone sent me to something like this before, so I know its out there. I'm looking for a website where I can enter in program names, like... "alg.exe" and it'll tell me exactly what it is.

Anyone know of any?

I dont know exactly what to search for. I dont really have the "geek" lingo down.

 

I was looking for a site that'll just give me a definition, so I dont have to sort through shit, like I would have to on google.

You never said anything about sorting, you said where you could type in a name and it tell you what it is.. which is what google will do.. try www.whatis.com
