As some of you know Paisley is really sick. I mean really, really sick. I don't think I have stopped crying since we found out. We are not sure what happened she was fine when I got home from work yesterday, but then she laid down. She looked too content.. like too deep of a sleep. We woke her and that is when it started. She cannot walk, move her head shakes when she lifts it. Oh dear god. We figure she got into something at the rental property we have, as Brian had her over there running around all day yesterday. She is at the vet's.. I am waiting for a call.. I went to go see her and they told me I couldn't. Everyone please say a prayer for my baby girl.
Again, I'm so sorry, Stacy.. I hope your girl pulls through. Its so painful to know that your baby is sick and you can't do anything
OH I should have made this post hours ago. The second I did, I get a call. Paisley is home She is still out of it, but really a total 100 percent turn-around from last night. She even pulled herself up to stick her head out of the window on the way home YAY!!!!!!! We are SOOO relieved. I also will say, we will stick with one dog for a long time.
We were right, she did get into some sort of toxins. We suspect either (as we cannot see anything over there) maybe some sort of rodent poison as I know last some the tenants had a problem with ants.. OR, the guys who just moved out smoked a lot of pot, so maybe she had some of that.
Well it definently wasn't a stash as they no longer live there. Would have just been some on the floor or something. She only weighs 3.5 lbs so anything would affect her.
Paws up!! I'm glad to hear Paisley is doing better. Tis a scary thing when they're sick. These pets of ours...oh the stress!
This has been the only time she has been sick. A few questions about stuff here and there, but this was the only time we were really worried. Thanks guys!
Thanks everyone. It really broke our hearts. She is such a huge part of my life here, especially when Brian is away at work. She has been sleeping all night. But so nice to have her here...
