I got a trailer for the weekend so I'm gonna do a spring clean and empty the house/garage/shed of all the shit that's been hanging around for years that it just taking up space. May also get to repair the dock which the ice banged up a bit this winter

What's up for you this long weekend?

You are the only person...at least in the afternoon. But I will look the other way if you don't go back after lunch (I'll be golfing anyways!).

I got a shit load of things to do around the place, too much to list. Most of it will not be vacation like enjoyment activities.

BootsBoots do you not take the dock out in winter?

No plans at all and I love it. Maybe a little yard work and some hanging with wife and son.

Almost completely out except for one crib. Ice twisted it around. Not a bad fix, but a bit of a pain.

No big plans...I'm just excited to sleep in for 3 days (I have had a headache most of the day today). Going to get my hair done tomorrow and then the rest is open. Hoping to hang out with some friends, maybe go dancing.

Not a long weekend, but my wife and son are gone for the weekend so I get some solo time with my daughter. Kicking things off with a Lemony Snicket marathon tonight! Ultimate and soccer games, a few bike rides, and some honey-do list items should keep things pretty busy. After my daughter goes to bed will be spent plowing through the latest season of Silicon Valley.

I took today off for that sweet sweet 4 day weekend.

I gotta do some lawn work, probably pressure wash my house and probably hose the cars off while I’m at it. Wouldn’t mind doing a little road trip somewhere neat. We’ll see

Also 4 day weekend crew....first time I've ever done so.

Today we did some showroom hopping to gather ideas for our small bathroom renovation this summer. Nothing major changing, just updating fixtures, paint, new tub surround and vanity.

Tomorrow, I'm doing a small plumbing job for a friend, then joining wifey at the Bluenose marathon. She's participating in the 5K....I opted out this year in favour of walking her friends dog around the city.
In the evening, BBQ / smoked meat and backyard fire with friends.

The rest of the weekend will consist of pick-up hockey games and just doing maintenance around the house and yard.

I just crawled out of the woods. 4 day camping trip, we were the only ones on our loop 2 out of three nights, and had an entire side of the lake to ourselves last night. Temps were damn cold at night a couple nights, something like 13 degrees the third night. I was shedding layers that night. Saturday was a washout - 25mm or so of rain. I'll do it again in a heartbeat though. :)

Friday - bf's bday. He got to NS around 2. We hit the waterfront for drinks. 2 Doors Down for supper. Then a nice walk in the evening. Home for more drinks.

Saturday- Early breakfast together. Headed to the market for some goodies (basically hot sauce, booze and cheese). Had a light lunch and some drinks at ChainYard. Naturally had to stop at Vandal Doughnuts for a bite for later while we were in the area. Then spent the rest of the sunny day on the deck with drinks. Headed to my friends for a bbq later that night.

Sunday- Early breakfast. Ran errands and hit up the good old mall. Went to his Dad's for lunch. Spent the rest of the day relaxing from so much sun and drinks the days before.

Monday- Bf headed back to NB around noon. I spent the day cleaning and relaxed in the evening.

Overall-Awesome weekend! Great weather. Amazing company! Happy camper!

Got an unexpected call back to work on Saturday afternoon. 3 hours at time and a half...nice. Otherwise uneventful.
