I wandered by Clyde St yesterday afternoon and they were still lined up down the block.

If there was two solid days of lineups, we'd have to start opening rehabs next week lol

I wanted to stop in on the way to hockey last night around 6:30, saw a line...knew I didn't have time.

But from what I've been told, been much quieter, that was some after work crowd likely.

I broke the laws, and the millions of people you say didn't likely did at some point. I know exactly 2 people who have never done weed. It was a hypocritical law that never should have been enforced in the first place. Those who were lucky enough to not be caught should not be standing on soap boxes now.

I can easily see both sides of this. Playing devils advocate; to me, it's not unlike speeding. Most people do it at one point or another. If/when you get caught, you don't get away without some sort of punishment because a lot of people around you were speeding, or because the speed limit should have been higher. You knew the speed limit was in place when you made the decision to break it. The fine/punishment may be more severe in the case of pot, but it's a similar scenario, IMO.

I stopped at a store here in Seattle in my way home from work. I knew I only had 5 minutes to spare and needed to get some cash from the ATM (cash only stores). In and out with time to spare.

Things will calm down and it won’t be a “big deal” in 6 months.

I've never done it in my life. I don't care if someone else has, and don't look down on anyone that does it, I just don't have a desire to try it. So while I guess that gives me permission to get on a soap box, that's not relevant. It was illegal .The law was broken, someone got caught and with that they got a record. You don't get to say "we'll other people did it an didn't get caught, so I shouldnt have a criminal record." If you're not old enough to take responsibility for your actions, you shouldn't be using it.

I spent 15 minutes in that line on Thursday while she did the grocery shopping. I made it up the side of the building as far as the windows of the NSLC before the security guard overseeing the line told me it would be about 15 more to get inside, then another 20 in a line inside the store, plus the time spent in their pot room.. I bailed. I'll try again when I don't have to wait outside.

Bought a single gram of weed, no idea if I'll ever use it...waiting for oils to come in stock. Was weirdest experience ever, not sure if ns setup is better...but nb setup is strange.

NS is still a very rushed experience. I'm sure it'll improve as things normalize.

    1) Step 1: Walk through doors and present ID to lady behind glass, get a number. Store is in another closed part of building.
    2) Step 2: Holding area door unlocks, you walk in. Store is still in another closed part of building
    3) Step 3: Wait around for armed security to let you into main store
    4) Step 4: Greeted to a 1 on 1 with sales, all products on display, can browse so no rush experience.

Seems like a lot of steps.

I was at Clyde street and it was like David’s tea meets an apple store for drugs

It seemed a little much, but they are trying to limit # of people in store to that of sales/customer service so you get 1 on 1 treatment. I agree on the Apple store reference...very similar experience.

At this point none of it matters...
    - very little flower
    - no oils
    - no pipes

There is almost nothing to buy once inside...

Weed is packaged at weight, then dries in the container and loses a tiny bit of weight, not sure why everyone is complaining.

Husband and I never tried it. We were going to but nah...We lived this long so why bother. I have had so many Doctors tell me to try it because of my panic attacks but I am too scared to. Some of you have explained my best method to try but it confused me even more. I am so glad my boys are anti-drugs because I really don't know how or what I would say to them with us being so green about them. They bring it up to us...which is awesome.

I don't use it very often, I can count on both hands the number of times in my life.

Not a huge fan of smoking it (joint, pipe, vape, whatever...). Been using the CBD only oil for a couple weeks and it's been incredible for my knee and back pain, like mind boggling how well it's worked. I am still nervous to try the THC oils but gonna give it a go this weekend and see.

I totally get your point though, people who've done it little or not at all, it can be nerve wracking.

your best bet would be a 5% ish THC pre roll. take a puff, see how you feel, take another one if you want, etc etc

edibles or oils are harder to "dose". i also hate smoking it but the results are instant and controllable where as if you eat too much of an edible or dose too much oil youll just hang on for the ride.
