Tuna fishing charter in PEI (didn't catch a tuna), airbnb in Charlottetown, loads of food and beer. Great weekend away with the boys.

Is this all to make your deck look bigger? If you trim the bushes around your deck it will also give the appearance of a bigger deck.

Bridgestone DM-V2s for the car just because Costco had a 1 day flash sale with 20% off. Will probably return and get some Toyo Gsi6’s. every year I say I want to try something different than Toyo’s and last year I went with Michelin x-ices and was thoroughly unimpressed. Would love to try the Nokian Hakunamattatas but only one store sells them and they milk them for every penny. So back to the old faithfuls I go.

I put our 3rd set of DMV2s on my wife’s car, they are fantastic. They had great grip and were quiet on her 100km round trip hwy commute. I’ve also had some Cooper or General pieces of shit that were awful and some GoodYear winter grips that were absolutely horrendous

never tried the Nokians but I’ve heard good things. I like Costco for the road hazard, rotations and cash back tho

More concerned about the dmv2 tread life. Toyo and Nokian are supposed to be substantially better and as I do 4000k/month tread life is a factor. Two winters is all I got with the toyos. Don’t really want to go down to 1.5.

i believe we got 2 winters out of them, probably could have squeezed a third but we traded in the car and they didn’t fit the new one.

Dropped $280 on a new hockey stick and I hate it. Every fucking time I get sucked in by the pretty colours on the composite sticks and I just end up with a $80 foam core stick for the season

I run toyo gsi-3 on the Durango and hate them, but they do wear well. Maybe the gsi-6 are much better but I think I am moving brands, lost my confidence.

I've been using Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80 and now WS-90 for a number of years now. I don't really think anything revolutionary has come out over the past few years to change up. The sporty winter tires are just a bit too much of a price jump to justify slightly better clear road performance.

The Gsi3s are their lower budget ice tires. They still make them but the gsi5 and now 6s are substantially better.

Generic blue pills for RC. This place was so exciting and hopping yesterday but today nothing seems to be "happening" and it's like all traces of yesterday vanished. So weird... Aging sucks.

BTW, you know that commercial where they say that branded blue pills are the same as the generic? That's a lie. Generic is about $60 for 24, branded would have been about $200.

I am so glad we don't have that foolishness I do try to keep my vehicles safe
I can see the point, we get a lot of vehicles that are for sale here that have a VI insurance inspection on them and they can't be driven on the road until they have a complete safety done on them because they were pulled over by the Police or a compliance officer.
