I bought a house
Tuna fishing charter in PEI (didn't catch a tuna), airbnb in Charlottetown, loads of food and beer. Great weekend away with the boys.
with the 7s coming so soon?
Orchid, wine, balloons and a card for my mother-in-laws 60th birthday today!
Yeah that's why these went on crazy sale
staining materials for the deck
furniture for the deck
deckbox for furniture pads on the deck
Is this all to make your deck look bigger? If you trim the bushes around your deck it will also give the appearance of a bigger deck.
Bridgestone DM-V2s for the car just because Costco had a 1 day flash sale with 20% off. Will probably return and get some Toyo Gsi6’s. every year I say I want to try something different than Toyo’s and last year I went with Michelin x-ices and was thoroughly unimpressed. Would love to try the Nokian Hakunamattatas but only one store sells them and they milk them for every penny. So back to the old faithfuls I go.
I put our 3rd set of DMV2s on my wife’s car, they are fantastic. They had great grip and were quiet on her 100km round trip hwy commute. I’ve also had some Cooper or General pieces of shit that were awful and some GoodYear winter grips that were absolutely horrendous
never tried the Nokians but I’ve heard good things. I like Costco for the road hazard, rotations and cash back tho
More concerned about the dmv2 tread life. Toyo and Nokian are supposed to be substantially better and as I do 4000k/month tread life is a factor. Two winters is all I got with the toyos. Don’t really want to go down to 1.5.
I have Toyo on all no complaints and they just last forever
i believe we got 2 winters out of them, probably could have squeezed a third but we traded in the car and they didn’t fit the new one.
Dropped $280 on a new hockey stick and I hate it. Every fucking time I get sucked in by the pretty colours on the composite sticks and I just end up with a $80 foam core stick for the season
I run toyo gsi-3 on the Durango and hate them, but they do wear well. Maybe the gsi-6 are much better but I think I am moving brands, lost my confidence.
I've been using Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80 and now WS-90 for a number of years now. I don't really think anything revolutionary has come out over the past few years to change up. The sporty winter tires are just a bit too much of a price jump to justify slightly better clear road performance.
Got $200 worth of groceries yesterday, and ordered my s/o some flowers for our anniversary. Also got some more Xmas gifts at Canadian Tire with the 100 year anniversary sale. Gerber Pocket knife for my brother in law and portable battery bank/charger thing for my oldest since he always steals mine!
It's Frozen over lol
kitchen table and chairs off the marketplace
Don’t forget to install g-talk. It’s going to be the leader in Instant messaging.
Snow tires and people dissing each other’s choice of phone. This place never changes.
New floor mats for the new car.
timing belt water pump and pulley and tensioner for the TDI Jetta
I could have sworn I already posted this
The Gsi3s are their lower budget ice tires. They still make them but the gsi5 and now 6s are substantially better.
Generic blue pills for RC. This place was so exciting and hopping yesterday but today nothing seems to be "happening" and it's like all traces of yesterday vanished. So weird... Aging sucks.
New makeup desk....I had my old one for 20 years... it was time for an upgrade
BTW, you know that commercial where they say that branded blue pills are the same as the generic? That's a lie. Generic is about $60 for 24, branded would have been about $200.
500 Heritage pieces of Star Line 38 Short Colt brass. For some family fun
about to be new tires for the Corvette, barely passed MVI today due to the tires lol
Looking at CONTINENTAL - EXTREMECONTACT DWS06 PLUS
but you passed, you are good for 2 years worry about it then
The whole not dying in a car crash thing probably weighs on his mind lol
sadly some people would do that
tickets to shellfish festival on PEI this weekend.
cilantro, chicken thighs, and 1 litre of 2% cow juice
There’s 3 vehicles in my driveway, only my wife’s would pass mvi
I am so glad we don't have that foolishness I do try to keep my vehicles safe
I can see the point, we get a lot of vehicles that are for sale here that have a VI insurance inspection on them and they can't be driven on the road until they have a complete safety done on them because they were pulled over by the Police or a compliance officer.
