plans are to open 30 more locations around the maritime provinces in the next 5 years. i was there opening day, 1 hour in line, 50 mins wait time. i love popeyes. its the shiznit. i have a tattoo to prove it
Latest update is awful. Don't do it. Has a glitch in it that makes your vibrate for alerts super weak.
Jelly! I know someone who waited for 3 hours. There's no way I could spend that much of my time waiting for chicken. I got Mary Browns over the weekend, super busy spot. Didnt expect it. I'm assuming everyone who went to Popeyes, seen the line and turned around and drove to Sackville. I wasn't a fan. It was my second time and I'd still go to KFC over Mary Browns.
We drove by last night around 5pm and it was backed up. We're waiting until the lineups are pretty much gone. A lot of people are waiting wait to long and their orders are messed up or missing things. Not worth it.
My shitty Walmart bbq perished in a windstorm last fall and so I grabbed one of the 4 burner napoleons from their new “ budget” model line reviews seem great so far. Gonna take it for a spin over the weekend if I can find some time to put it together before then
I can't stand Costco. Shoulder to shoulder shopping with 5,000 other people, massive lineups and they don't take VISA so I can't get cashback at a store where the average checkout price is several hundred dollars. FAIL.
One of the main points of shopping at Costco is cost savings so while I understanding your desire to double down with cashback on your VISA, Costco keeps the costs lower in part by not paying the CC overhead.
Was gonna chime in with my recent Costco trip. Definitely not 5000 people there... Lucky if there were 200. And I bought an 18 pack of LED bulbs for the new house for 11.99 where as 4 at wal mart is 12.99. Grabbed a butane single burner camping stove and 4 cans of butane for less than $50. Gigantic bag of dog food for the price of a regular bag at superstore.... That'll last me a month. And a new faucet for the new house that would've cost me 60$ more at any other retailer. That savings by itself justified my $58 membership fee, let alone the other savings.
We swapped out our winter tires on Tuesday before a road trip to Eastern Washington - which means going over a mountain pass. And ended up being a drive over the mountain pass in snow. Good timing!
