With the shortages in parts waits for new higher end bikes are bonkers. gone are the days where you could hop into a LBS and expect to test out a few different sizes. I have a friend who ordered a bike this time last year and it still isn't ready lol.

Found these guys in YouTube. Ordered Black and Cajun a few weeks ago. Fucking delicious stuff. Ordered the variety pack this time with Original, Butter, Hollywood and more Black. That stuff is a game changer in brisket. Also got their Rebel Red hot sauce instead if bbq sauce.

Check out their YouTube channel. Bearded butchers. Good videos showing how to butcher at home, guides on how to make bacon, process wild game and some good cooking guides. I also highly recommend their seasoning products.

Just realised the Blue Jays are in town this weekend to play the Mariners. Do I buy tickets? I couldn’t tell you a player on either team.

It would be worth it to see the Jays right now. They are one of the hottest teams in baseball with lots of star power.

A Seattle Jays game is like a second home for them.

My employer is hosting a family drive in movie night for all the employees. Donation based for united way. I didn't take my boys to go see Moana... Posting a picture from the event as an example. Figured it would look terrible in the daylight. Going at 9 to see indiana Jones and the raiders of the lost ark. Hopefully they can stay awake!

Registration for a Fall Colours bike ride ~80km route which I will end up turning into ~120km as I'll bike to the start and bike home after. Looks like a beautiful route in an area I've only travelled to once. Starts off with a ferry ride from the Seattle side to get to the start of the race with about 200 other cyclists which is always fun.

$275+tax for those in 265/50/R20 on Black Circles, reasonable option for sure...no Costco membership but friend works there so might have her price them.

I priced them on black circles.ca and they came in $50 cheaper for a set of 4 than Costco but the Costco price includes install, road hazard and free rotations. It was a no brainer deal

plus 2% back with my exec membership and 1.5% back on my credit card = $28 further savings if you want get super cheapskate about it
