usually about 1/3 the price of an arborist goes right to his/her insurance premium.
The bottom seems to have fallen out of it now. Of course after a prolonged period of no or sideways movement I bailed last week. Even Elon tweets weren't moving it much so I decided to swap out for some BNB to stake. Figures, like most other times when I buy it drops, when I sell it moons :P That last pump seems a little suspect though insane fast growth then a fairly large drop somewhere in the 30-35% range
Gonna pick up a sub-compact tractor (loader/backhoe), getting dealer quotes now.
Not going green, don't have green money.
Hoping to get something soon though, so much work I want to do.
5 tons of 0-3/4 gravel for a parking pad.
Shingles. Aggravating that I had to buy an entire bundle when I only needed about half of it but got the job done.
Oh yes, booked in June to get steel roof on my house/garage/gazebo
Steel roofing just announced a 15-18% increase
Could have seen that coming. I bought steel studs last Sept for 4.89 and they are now nearly $8 if you can even find them.
Yeah, just like everything else...what can you do, need a roof and don't want shingles.
Well....looks like that project is getting put off a few more years
10 day u haul storage to hold all my shit because
Why waste money on a storage unit when you have that great big warehouse at your disposal? Hell you could just live there for a couple weeks. lol
new entrance pre hung door for downstairs apartment, can of spray foam and new tape measure; went for a 30' Stanley Powerlock. The fat max is not for me, besides the fact I destroyed two, they are bulky and too big
Pizza next door and wifi, I was down
wife wasn’t super thrilled with that idea
As I was reading this the first thing that came to mind was "hey, wait, he got a powerlock? Who in their right mind gets a powerlock when they could get the fatmax?! You had better have a damn good reason for getting a powerlock over a fatmax! That's insane!!"
PS Milwaukee has a better extension, but the Lufkin self centering while not a robust makes riding centerpoints a dream.
had the milwaukee and also didn't care for that. I've heard good things about the Lufkin's.
Heart rate chest strap.
I’m starting a 1/2 marathon training program based off heart rate zone training. I could just use my Apple Watch but the more I read, the more the chest strap seemed like a better option - not to mention it’s compatible with the new bike computer I use.
What are you running for a computer? I've been trying to decide on one and can't make up my mind
Wahoo Elemnt Roam.
I did a ton of research and the cycling group at work had a lunch and learn where everyone who used a bike computer debated pros and cons. The Garmin crowd seemed to wish they had the Wahoo and the Wahoos were all really happy and impressed.
Love it so far - planning a ride tomorrow in an area I've never been - created a route in Strava and will have turn by turn directions when I arrive.
Green Fee + cart at River Oaks...... Technically still in HRM apparently. It was the only tee time we could find anywhere all weekend. Once they announced the latest restrictions, the golf courses all booked up instantly.
Side note..... I forgot how difficult and weird River Oaks is, it's been like 5 years since I've played it.
Picked up some Verawood (Argentine Lignum) and some Roasted Curly Maple. I am not a wood worker but needed some wood for a part of a project and I am not sure which one of these is going to go on it yet.
Still that place was always a bitch
Be glad you’re not in Ontario right now - so many angry friends who can’t golf r”because of some of the not-thought-through Lockdown rules they’ve put in place.
Oh yeah, I see lots of it in some different Facebook groups I'm in. The boys are NOT happy, and for good reason. It doesn't really make sense to me. Glad they didn't try that shit here.
Haircut for my 4 year old.
Don’t panic but I think they cut him
New puppy! Details pending.
Finally signed the mortgage papers on my new build, it’s finally mine so I guess that’s my most recent purchase.
Moving in on Friday, thank fuck. Only got delayed by 11 days from the date we set back in Feb. Builder stepped up and ran 7 day crews to keep it on track as possible so I have zero complaints. No deficiencies, on my original date we would have had no landscaping or paved driveway until a few weeks after, but it’s all complete now.
definitely the most stressful time of my life
Gibson Les Paul tribute Junior double cut.. maybe..
Case of beer for a rototiller
Sandals from Costco.
People underestimate the stress around buying a new home, moving, etc. I can remember crying when we moved to Seattle - so stressed to try and find a home before my family got here.
Things in this market just keep getting crazier: in my neighborhood:
LG Velvet 5G, my LG G7 One still works like new, but wanted more storage space.
