Costco and Cabela's run.
Paint Correction and full Xpel wrap
Nice! Paul and his guys do good work
Absolutley! Their attention to detail is on another level.
reverse lockout solenoid for the corvette.
almost slammed it into reverse instead of 5th at 100km/h the other day
yikes. That could have been terrible
luckily i knew it felt different than normal when it slid over farther than normal for 5th so i pulled it back a bit and put it in 6th
I've driven a couple 5 speed cars and found '6th' at speed. It doesn't sound pretty.
Just donated to EJI - almost missed the last day my employer is matching donations for this at 2:1. In the woods, beer in hand, hoping to make a difference.
Ive read good things about them. Almost ready to replace my Grabber APTs. I like having a tire i can run year round.
That's all I've done for years now. Cant imagine having to deal with winters anymore.
We drove by a Cabella’s on our way back from camping - the parking lot was absolutely jammed and there was no line at the door so pretty obvious they’re not doing anything to get shoppers to social distance.
This was in one of Washington’s counties where COVID cases are out of control right now. I can imagine most going in weren’t wearing masks.
I’m not saying anything negative about Cabella’s - I love that store and now want to go to find that same pair of pants as they look awesome for hiking. It was just surprising to see the parking lot packed when COVID is crazy again.
Cabela's here is doing a que to get in. Was a 15 minute wait but well worth it.
Pants are from Costco.
these are shockingly quiet on the highway.
Well, now maybe I need to go to Costco!
I went to REI today (US version of MEC Co-op). They could give a masterclass on how to run a store during the pandemic.
On that note:
- new hiking shoes. Mine bit the dust camping this past weekend.
- hiking pants
- hiking socks
- peanut butter chocolate marshmallows as a treat for my daughter
And on the way home:
- margarita mix
Hitch and wiring harness for my dads suv
Tap and die set to drill out weld bolts in said suv
Finally able to tow my boat again.
beachcomber hot tub cover
Ridge wallet $90
Davids Tea $80
Round of golf + beers $50
picked them up from performance edge in tantallon, i think i ordered them on thursday and they were in on monday. really was set on tko2 but i run this truck hard and thats a lot of money to burn on tires that really arent all that much better, according to reviews.
blackcircles.ca for future reference. My new go to for tires. Bought a few sets from there, all arrived in 3 days and the prices destroyed local shops. They didn't have the tires I was looking for and I got on the online chat and they got them for me. Got a set of 18" Pilot Sport 4S for $1100 to my door
I'm still torn on what i want. I don't really need an AT tire. Don't do any offroading. But i do want a strong tire for towing.
This truck does 0 off-roading, but can carry some weight in the bed if need be on occasion, so I wanted LTs and figured I might as well get a tire that looks cool while I’m at it.
Glad to hear he's still open. Used to go to him 10+ years ago!
Just out of curiosity, I priced those up on blackcircles. $ 885.38 shipped for the set. Good price?
Sure they are LT? Like one can get regular passenger tires. But LT tires are generally a couple hundred more.
yep, same tires. I only ask because I just recently found that site and have been super happy with their prices
Than I'd say that's a great price!
where does it say they're LT tires? I priced them and was around $1080 for my size. no mention of LT that I can see. Also I find their website very buggy, pages won't load, etc
Adblocker of some sort messing it up? Works fine for me
I'm not surprised if their price is a few hundred cheaper than local prices. I've bought two sets of tires from them and they were significantly cheaper than local shops.
I couldn't get them from my truck for that price in LT.
It pops up if they are LT above the price. Next to if it's snow/studdable etc.
was the ad blocker.
Not an LT tire for me, only XL, which I could live with. $1064. Not bad.
