The wife and I just put a deposit down on a puppy, a Bernedoodle! Our first puppy together and her first ever. August will be full of excitement!
Not with me. I just saw an opportunity to have some fun and liven things up a little! I could care less what people who never met me think of me online. In real life I'm pretty well spoken and courteous. I do find it humorous how it's perceived as alpha to say "the wife" but in no way did I find it offensive. It was all in good fun on my end. Brah.
well i see a certain demographic with people that speak that way, and you forgot to mention the white sunglass you did in your rant forget to mention the white sunglasses and backwards under armour hat....it does suit the lifted diesel truck on the way to Goodlife look lol or substitute 4 door wrangler and Bear Flag Chardonnay on a friday night with the lady bro
Wasn't a rant. Was a made up joke trying to make a play on the stereotypes of those that do say "brah" and most likely wear flat brimmed hat or still gel their hair at 39. Oh, and my truck is NOT lifted haha. I've mocked the white Oakley's since day one. But I do have an under armour ball cap.... But it's got a nice curve in the beak!!!!
Never really have had a need for a shotgun... But going for the bear hunt in a few weeks. Figured wouldn't hurt to have if I need it.
16x20 wall tent, got the package that comes with an extended fly (think covered patio) and a nice big wood stove. Great for family camping, hunting etc. Should be here Friday, just in time for a nice weekend escape. Been a hell of a couple weeks. Flooding, Covid, Economy, etc. We can't even drink our water here without boiling it and they are now, as of today saying that will continue until September! I've enough and need to hit the bush! Found a generic Google image. Gives you the idea.
On my second visit to the Yukon to visit my brother-in-law, they didn't really have enough room to host us, so the first chore was putting one of these up - well, I think slightly more of a permanent version as we were cutting 2x4's for the frame. It worked pretty nicely and we had a hippie killer stove to keep us warm. I think the only issue was we had to wake up in the middle of the night to blow up a faulty air mattress. Good times!
We use cots. But they are definitely a great way to go for camping and hunting. No wooden posts, internal steel frame. Take about 30 minutes to set up.
stuck in Nfld between rotations. I was to nervous to fly home and bring covid back to the family. My company put me up in an apartment. Ive been away since early march.
My tent package package arrived a couple days late. But hey it's here! Fed Ex dropped it off, rang the doorbell and ran away! . Didn't have to sign for a $3000 package! .
A little bit jealous, a little bit of laughter. My kids have decided they are fans of "backwoods tent camping" - put our trailer up for sale today. Luxury is gone for our camping adventures!
No.. I can't justify the cost. I just had them apply Ceramic Pro Sport to give it a hydrophobic coating. Makes it easier to wash if the water beads off it.
