Been leaning towards Maytag, Bosch is nowhere near my price range. Heard horror stories first hand on Samsung yet online reviews are great...

Back at work but not cleared for full duty. Had Staples in my head, spent 6 days in the hospital. But doing way better, down to just Advil once a day.

You know when I was reading your political posts, brain injury was the first thing that came to mind.

(I'm sorry, I had too.. you'd have done the same if roles were reversed and I'd have laughed )

On a serious note, what did you do?!

I was waiting for it! Yes, fair game and you're absolutely correct about if the roles were reversed.

Its not even a cool story. I was letting the dogs out right before bed. Back steps got icy compared to when I last let them out and down I went. Smoked my head on my concrete walkway. I was unconscious for 3 minutes and lost 6 hours of memory.

Impact was on the back of my head, brain injury on the front. Slight bleeding and bruising. Doctor said I'm extremely lucky to have no lasting effects let alone not be blind or still be alive. Where the impact was I guess many people are left blind from it. And if it was a depressed fracture I could be dead.

I don't remember a thing and have taken it as a game changer for my life. Never been hospitalized and I've lived a life where my career has always been a "risky" one.

Holy crap. Glad you’re OK, GrifterGrifter ! I imagine you’re taking a look at just how lucky you are to be alive! I know I would.

Also - I was not thinking you had brain damage in the thread about Cherry but I’m not an asshole like BootsBoots .

Changes your perspective pretty quick too. Definitely making some life changes after it. Not getting any younger! And don't want to live with "what ifs'"hanging over my head.
