My washer AND dryer shit the bed on the same day...well washer sprung a leak in door seal pretty bad, dryer seized. Already spent $350 or so a piece on them for repairs so not doing anymore. Time to upgrade. Will be my next purchase, just haven't researched enough yet. Any recommendations?

You looking for stack-able or side by side? I have had front load for a while and went back to a top load since we don't stack them. I find the additional capacity is great and the agitator, albeit small, seems to get my clothes cleaner.

I have had decent luck with our Samsung set, that would be the only appliance from them I would recommend. I have also had really good luck with LG and Maytag at the rentals, and I am sure those are not being babied.

The problem with Samsung is they often have proprietary parts and a belt can run you $100, where as Maytag, Whirlpool and Inglis have a lot of shared parts.

If you want to go 1% go with a Bosch set.

New spoke for my commuter bike. I was putting some new reflectors on for the winter and realized the whole wheel was fucked and a broken spoke to boot. Gotta love the shitty roads in Seattle and the toll they take on my bike!
