RVR was so plain and boring, they still are...but goddamn it would go anywhere
I have the Volvo equivalent, it's very handy. It text's me when I forget to lock the doors which is amazing! Since Volvo/Ford are in bed together, I assume we are talking roughly the same feature set.
I was away for work since Thursday and got in late last night so I haven’t even laid eyes on it until we pick it up tonight or tomorrow, I just did everything over the phone but I’m looking forward to the fordpass app and I want to see if it will pair with Alexa so I can tell her to start it lmao
I’m replacing my Ram with an F150 in Jan/ feb and I can’t wait to have the FordPass on it. No remote start is terrible
The AWC is pretty impressive, I had it like 30km down some old back roads in stewiacke, driving the shit out of it and it was a blast.
GM was way ahead of the times with the remotelink app.
the scheduled start is the best part of the fordpass app. its pretty slick.
All this chatter about remote start with a phone app reminds me how basic my car is. Hell, I don't even have cruise.
Considering upgrading to an SUV soon, only at the start of thinking what I want. It'd be nice to not have a payment for a couple of years though.
Couple screenshots of the Volvo one, tracks every km, fuel, vehicle health, super neat
It wasn't even cold but the heated steering wheel and seats were nice to get into this am.
I had the Escape still on my app, the company must have sold it at auction because it was in residing in Seattle. I would start it once in a while for shits and giggles. I would like to say I deleted the car from my app because I was worried I might accidentally start the vehicle inside, but it was because the stupid twat was always letting their air pressure get low and I would get alerts.
Also, Wayne, your transformation to a female went strikingly well from the looks of your picture.
ROFL! I wish I looked as good as my wife. Thats a FB chat bubble haha.
I didn’t think about the tire pressure thing, that’s good to know. Winter tires and wheels are next on the purchase list.
If my cars had apps, they'd probably be Palm Pilot based lol
Yeah my 06 XC70 doesn't have USB, or even a line input for my phone...
$160 worth of 2x6, 2x4, and 1x6 today at Home Hardware. Then spent a few hours building a new well house. A bit of finishing and staining left to do tomorrow because I ran out of daylight.
Bunch of lumber to build a new king bed.
A chicken coop. I was going to build from scratch but found a pre-fab one that is exactly what I was going to build. Kind of crazy that I can order a chicken coop on amazon and have it delivered to my door.
Just like the old days with Sears & Roebuck

About $1000usd worth of toys over the last two days.
Took a slap shot to the dick the other night at hockey and it cracked my jock. After 12 years of service it was long overdue for an upgrade anyway. That’s pretty much the most exciting purchase I’ve made in a while
