Got a cot and mattress pad thingy for hunting camp. No more borrowing!

Also picked up some black rifle coffee at the hunting show... They tossed in some instant coffee,(will be handy at moose camp) a free mug, pens and some chocolate for the boys! Can't wait to try it.

Turn signal bulbs for the van. Exciting Saturday!

I tried to get replacement hardware (hinges) for a cupboard door in the kitchen. The hinges have "ikea" stamped on them so went to Ikea (which I hate). Spend 30 minutes going through the maze to be told that Ikea doesn't brand their hinges and if you look at the logo, it isn't actually the Ikea brand. ie: They're off-market hinges. So, I didn't buy any hinges.

In the late spring/early summer I slept on one of those for 6 weeks. I can honestly say I didn't have a single bad sleep the entire time.

We go for a week at the end of September/early August for moose camp. Then Elk camp is late october for another week. I sleep great the entire time. Mind you, it's a lot of hiking/quading and a fair bit of adult beverage indulgence at night. But I never can complain about the sleeps.

Big fan of Luminox, I just wish on the sea turtle series they would put tritium tubes on the odd numbered indices and on the second hand like they do the rest.

Yeah I wish it had more lume too. But I didn’t want to go any more expensive since this is a “knock around watch” and I’ll put something nicer in my watch box another day.

I really like the atacama field 1944 but at $1k it’s a big price to pay for quartz

Where's a good spot locally to try on some nice watches?

Depends on how nice you’re looking for. Halifax watch carries the Luminox line so I went there to try it on before I bought it.

Touch of gold downtown does tag Rolex and Tudor

I'd like to get myself a nicer watch. Currently wear a citizen ecodrive. It's a great watch but I'd like to upgrade to something a little more unique. I really can't get into Rolex watches at all. To me, most of them seem boring and people just buy them as a status symbol. Was hoping you'd name a spot that had a large selection of different brands.

I think Halifax watch has some Hamilton’s as well. They’re really nice for the price. Basically slightly less expensive than a quartz Tag

I’m “over” watches. Think I’ve worn a watch twice in the last two years or so.

Recently started selling mine off on eBay. Keeping one of my Nixon’s (wedding watch), and one of my grandfathers cheap automatics. Everything else has either been sold already, or is listed and waiting for a buyer...

Can I interest anyone in a black Burberry BU1373?

I buy 100% of my watches online. If you try a few on in a store and get a good idea of the case size/thickness and style you will have no issue ordering something that fits online.

I am at about 30 watches at the moment and my favorites are actually the cheapest. My Chinese made citizen miyota powered automatics.
