Here is what Tim had to say: I just got word that we will have the parking lot at the colliseum available to run on for sunday, october the 19th. this is a huge lot, with a fairly long course, and always fun. It is kinda the last hurraw for the solo year. more details will follow after Im back from devens.....16 hrs to design a course should do. hope to see you there
I'm in. I was talking to Tim about it yesterday, and he's adapted one of the SCCA layouts to the lot, which is a great lot. Besides, I still have one side of the car that hasn't hit something yet....
Well, we should aim to be there between 10-10:30 I imagine, so that should have us hitting the road around 8. Aaron and Craig (silver RX-8 and red B16 hatch) want to meet up in Truro, so that should put us there around 9, depending on where we meet up and leave from.
Hehe... timing I'm good at. I always know exactely how late I am. It's actually leaving at my required start time I have problems with.
Are you guys still going if it's raining? Forcasting rain for essentially all of atlantic canada on sunday...
Well, I managed to get sunday off again so it looks like I'll be makin' the trip up. Hopefully the weather is descent.
Looks like tomorrow's rain moved up to today, and I'm ok with it. The course map that Tim posted on the ARMS web site looks like this should be a fun event. Nice big, fast, flowing course. Should be fun. So what's the plan? Aaron and Craig want to meet in Truro between 8:30 and 8:45...
This is getting a touch complicated, since Joe has to drop his daughter off in the morning. If Joe can drop her off a little early, then I'd be willing to meet at our usual place in Lower Sackville at 7:45 to make it a bit easier for him. If he can't, well, I'd be thinking something a little more central for Steve and I, like around the Inn-on-the-Lake in Fall River or something...
We're going to have to push our luck on time buffer since Joe has to drop his daughter off. We're meeting at Joe's parents place at 8:00AM. Then the 45-min dash to Truro... aka Springfield, home of Chief Wiggum *edit: Ooops... as per Steve.
Id go, but unfortunely some of us cant scam time off like others here, i dont know how the fuck you are doing it Eisenhower.. Especially on 2 days notice..
That's all right... all the frickin' shit he's buying for that car this winter, he's going to have to start working overtime like a MoFo anyway... He'll regret all these days off.
Nothing to regret, all these days off are paid in full, I don't mind not being here. My manager kicks ass!
You'll find out when the crack whore wants repayment for all these favors she's doing for you.. and believe me, it will come..
Ahh... shitty. Too bad you didn't have something else to drive instead of the Miata... like.. oh.. an RSX-S 6-speed wearing Toyo T1-Ss.. wonder where you could find one.
