It - More of a coming of age with a dash of horror mixed in. Had a very Stranger Things feel to it, lots of laughs and a few scares. Really enjoyed it.
Wind River - not bad, a solid 6.

Sharknado 3. Just as good as the first two...

..... solid 1/10. Was mostly just on in the background while I was doing so work, so it may have actually been a 2/10, had I paid closer attention.

Last movie I watched from beginning to end was Shaun of the Dead a few nights ago. I got about halfway through Hot Fuzz last night before shutting it off to go to sleep.

Reminded me a lot of the series Fargo....not very entertaining and the acting seemed canadianish!

I loved wind river. That director made a great trilogy. (Sicario, Wind River and Hell or High Water)

I watched The Martian recently. Loved it. Matt Damon was great, and for a movie with a guy stranded alone on Mars, I didn't expect to laugh as much as I did

This would be the last movie I watched as well on a flight from Seattle to Burbank. Agree with the assessment, though it did entertain me more than I thought it would. Turn your brain off entertainment, which is what I needed to make the flight go quickly. :)

Justice League. Took the boy to it. We enjoyed it. Way better than Batman vs Superman.

It’s harder for my 11 year old. She and I saw it last night but my wife and son aren’t heading to see it until the 22nd.

We won two tickets to the first screening at our local theatre - they made a big do of it with free popcorn, throwing out t-shirts. All kinds of Jedi and storm troopers in the audience. It’s a pretty old-school theatre - was fun when they pulled my daughter out of the audience to go back to the projection boot the “start” the movie.

Boring, terribly made. Not remotely scary at all. Predictable ending and just all around bad movie.

    Bright.

I thought it was fun. Some of the Will Smith dialog was way too ... Will Smith, but overall, it was a fun story and the visuals were fantastic. 7/10 ?

Finally saw "Get Out". It was highly entertaining and hits right on that dark comedy that Peele brought to some of the best skits in Key&Peele.

Not sure about fun but it was watchable....I was more curious about how it would end.....looked like a spin-off from Strange things

Blade Runner 2049. Was pretty dull, couldn't get into it. Deleted it half way through.

An oldie, Temple Grandin with Claire Danes, thought it was fantastic...and Claire Danes is usually painful to watch.
