Sold off my belongings and am about to finally move to Buttfuck N.S.

Guess who is going to have a lot of posting time?

Anyone else happy to be newly redundant?

Worked at The Weather Network as a contractor in a technical services capacity, our company got shitcanned. Loved the client and all of their staff, hated my employer.

They are a strange company, they treat everyone really well, but they are almost to television what a teaching hospital is to doctors. Most of the writers, switchers, editors, meteorologists and on air talent started at TWN within the last 3 to 5 years, as their first real TV job. The management is great, the pay for them just isn't all that.

Half the TV weather people in Ontario seem to have come out of there.

I'm going to Cumberland County to my Dad's place. He has been there since mid 2000 and I've never been there.

I'm looking at setting up an internet e-commerce idea that I've had for a while. I am sure I can snag some government seed money.

Doing it in Bumfuck N.S. with too much time on my hands seems a perfect mix.

I've been hearing about people I've worked with for years disappearing around me over the last two days. Scary time to be a manager at Aliant. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
