man i love that car
She is one sexy hunk of american steel.
The car looks great. I really like the fuel cell and the custom vin #
Beautiful, nice nice nice attempt at cloning Eleanor. The remake gone in 60 seconds Eleanor was a 67 Shelby GT 500, and in the original, I believe it was a 71 Mach 1.
That car is still down right sexy though, I loved the one that was in the movie, and the one in the auction there is every bit as beautiful. I like the movie one better. . . . lighter colour, lack of stripes.
Not sure, but I think Eleanor was a built GT 500 for the movie, but the one that his brother buys him at the end of the movie,(the junkie one) that was a real GT 500!
As for the original, I don't know...............
And yes, this is my altimate dream machine!
Nice car! but the only Ford I'll ever own is one that I'll wanna Abuse! & that just ain't it!
Incredible. Eleanor > *
That is totally 100% right.
The one that they had used for the shots, was a 67 Mustang made to look like a GT 500. . . it was a real show car, nice, clean, and as it appeared in the shots, it on eBay couple years ago. It wasn't a real GT 500. The one that Kip buys him in the end is a true GT 500, that a Mustang collector had donated to be used for the last scene.
And, I had to check tonight, the original Eleanor was a 73 Mach 1.
And the newer 2000 year remake of the movie was a GT 500
Dead sexy car! Instant wood!
it's not a clone.. they actually produce these cars now.
I know that they actually make the cars now, you could buy a complete kit to make your own Eleanor just a while after the movie was out. I was saying that whoever made the one in the auction there did a phenominal job at making it look like Eleanor from gone in sixty seconds, not that the car was not a true GT500E. it looks extremely close to Eleanor.
wish i had the money to but it
